Terms and Conditions

Payment for your order signifies that you agree to the following terms and conditions. 

Thank you for supporting my small business!

Payment

Payment is due in full to secure your order. Orders that have not been paid in full are NOT considered officially placed and will not be fulfilled. 

Invoice

After placing your order with me, you will receive an invoice for your order. Invoices need to be paid within 24 hours of the invoice being received. If payment has not been received after 24 hours, your order will be canceled and the date will reopen to the next client in line. 

Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds: 

I understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your order please note the following policies:

  • Cancellations must be in writing to ubeoverloadph@gmail.com
  • If your order is canceled more than 7 days before the scheduled delivery/pick-up it will be refunded in full.
  • If your order is canceled within 7 days of the scheduled delivery/pick-up there will be no refund.
  • If you need to reschedule a paid order more than 7 days away, you may apply the paid amount pending my availability. 
  • The invoice for the rescheduled date must be paid within 24 hours of receiving it to secure the new date
  • Refunds are not available for any products ordered during a pre-sale or pop-up
  • Ube Overload reserves the right to cancel at any time due to personal emergency or act of God, but we will return any deposit or payment in the event we must cancel.


Inspiration

Feel free to provide inspirational photos to help me with the design of your item. Please remember, the photos are just for inspiration and I will not copy another baker's work exactly. Refunds will not be issued based on the artistic interpretation of a design. Please provide color swatches for reference when a close match is important. 


Shipping or Delivery

All sales are for pick-up at 28032 151st Place SE Kent, WA 98042 unless otherwise advertised.

Delivery is available at my discretion for a flat fee of $25 and round trip is $50.  Please Inquire if delivery is needed.

Due to cottage food laws, I am unable to ship any items.


Pick-Up Dates

Pick-up times are set at the time of ordering. 

  • We will not be able to reschedule your order for a different pick-up date once the payment has been received.
  •  If your event date changes, please see the refund policy. .
  • If you are running late, please contact me at (253) 394-6220 via phone or text. Orders that are not picked up within 1 hour of the set pick-up window, and you have not made other arrangements with me, are subject to forfeiture and no refunds will be given. 


Price Adjustments

All prices are subject to change. Because our prices are often dictated by ingredient and supply costs, We cannot honor past date pricing.


Care

Once you accept your order, it becomes your responsibility. For best results please be aware of the following:

  •  Keep products out of direct sunlight
  •  Do not refrigerate your items unless otherwise noted 
  • When transporting your order, place items on the floor of the car on the flattest surface possible. Drive slowly around corners, and allow more time to brake. 
  •  Please ask for additional instructions if needed. 


Social Media

I love to share photos of my work! I promise not to post a photo of your special treat online until the day after you have picked it up. Please feel free to tag yourself in the photo of your order!


Cottage Foods Laws & Allergens

I am a fully licensed cottage food operator and food processing license within the state of Washington. As such, our products are prepared pursuant to the state cottage food laws in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Department of Health. All items are prepared in a kitchen that contains nuts, eggs, dairy, and gluten.
